The Local Food Economy Lab is working to mobilize funding for local farmers, ranchers, fishermen, and food business owners in our region, particularly those who have historically been denied resources and financing.

As part of our USDA Land, Capital, and Markets grant, we are seeding a Farmer Fund that will be co-designed in partnership with farmers in our region. More details coming soon!

We are also collaborators on a Healthy Food Financing Partnership for Southern California, and will be supporting food retailers through a new SoCal Impact Food Fund. More details coming soon!
